The game itself is incredible while at the same time, maintaining that old-school feel. The controls may get you killed.

I agree with the reviewer who wants better buttons! Also, tweaked graphics and larger sprites a la KOF 2012-i would be a boon! Yeah! Do new controls and set up (custom control feature is...notsogood) and make it identical to controls and sprite size of kof-i and Ill max out ALL your stars!!!(mmmm...KOF i-2012! Now THATS an all star game!)

I beat up a black Ryu with an Afro. 10/10.

I dont know if its because of the IOS firmware or my device but this game is far from enjoyable at the moment. Just FYI, Im running the app on IPad Mini Retina, IOS 8.3.

Make the controls similar to King of Fighters-i

Pretty good for a touch screen game. Im all about physical controllers,but this is playable enough for a phone game. It has buttons that make the harder moves easier to pull off if you just cant seem to get the touch controls down. Havent tried with icade jr. yet, but I was more interested in being able to carry this game in my pocket and play it on the go on my break at work or something. It serves the purpose in my opinion. Grab it while its 99 cents;) Update: Tried with icade jr. and it works pretty good. I cant figure out how to change the button configuration,but the default has it as A=upper left button B=lower left button C=upper right button D=lower right button So it works out good for me. Only complaint I have is with the touch controls. I agree with other reviewers that this game needs a c+d button while using touch screen. Besides that it works pretty good. Update 2: I have noticed occasional slowdown, but the game still runs good for the most part on my iPhone 5s. Still recommend if you can grab it at 99 cents. Still a fun casual fighting game to pull out for a quick bit of entertainment:)

Just like how I remember it. Now if you guys bring The Last Blade 2 and Samurai Showdown 4, my life would be complete!

If only I had a controller the experience would be great. If you are purchasing the game because you love old arcade fighters then this is a very tempting purchase. The problem lies in the controls though. Trying to do a simple 236, think hadouken from street fighter, is a chore and the AI however has no problem. The difficulty should be adjusted for mobile as it is much more difficult to pull off moves that are considered entry level BNB on any arcade or console with a decent control layout. The two extra buttons on the top right also seem to do nothing for me. Perhaps I am using them incorrectly? I have moved them, resized them, etc but nothing comes of pressing them. In truth, just adding a button to do special moves in conjunction with a single direction seems more appropriate on this platform as it is likely you will be constantly jumping or crouching instead of doing an actual move. TLDR: if you like missed commands and eating kicks to the face, buy this.

Its famously good, even on a mobile device. Im still pretty horrible, but its a lot of fun. I like a game thats fun at any skill level.

Bought this one because of the Super Best Friends. Great decision.

As my review suggest, it is an awesome fighting game to play. The touchscreen controls on the other hand... I wish I had the adaptor to fully enjoy the game. When you want to do a simple ⬇️↘️➡️ or ⬇️↙️⬅️, its a little difficult to pull it off. I also notice that this port suffers from slowdown especially if you play it on older models. Other than that, it is an awesome game to play.

Surprisingly good controls for a mobile fighting game.

Fun. True to the original. Great gameplay and it gets more comfortable wiki g with the touch screen as you go.

Controls are kind of weird, but the game in general is good, thank you SNK for all those titles, and my friend and I are waiting for GALAXY FIGHT, UNIVERSAL WARRIORS

A classic every 2d fighter fan NEEDS!

How would you feel if a wealthy benefactor gave you a Ferrari and instead of steering wheel and pedals it had skid steer controls? Thats how this game feels. Like dotemu is making fun of gamers by programming such poor controls. SNK did a fantastic job with the game a decade and a half ago which I graciously applaud, but this emu and controller execution was poor at best.

Fix the game its unplayable with the SP button broken.
